On April 16, 2021, a Belgian artist caught the public’s attention when he donned his “Portable Oasis”, a domed acrylic “mask” complete with rooted green plants inside as his personal safe bubble. This artistic interpretation of the required wearing of surgical mask on public and enclosed areas because of the threat of the Covid 19, was witty and amusing.
